Word has it that Kenneth Mapp is going to make another run at Government House in the 2014 election.
With the theme of "Hope Over Despair," his last run ended in controversy in the midst of concerns about the accuracy of the voting machines and an emotional rally with his supporters on St. Croix. At that time, there was discussion of challenges that were to be issued to the Board of Elections on the election procedures, but no results were ever revealed from those inquiries.
Controversial but persistent, could he be considering another run? And if he is, can he win?

All of the administrations proxy’s that helped placed the VI in the current crisis can expect a serious beat down.They know they don’t have a rat’s @SS chance but will try anyway with the goal being to dilute the voter pool. Can’t wait to see “The Re@l Holland Redfield” eh. The game has changed.
You mean Rhino Redfield don’t you? The field may get crowded with Moorhead, Danet,Mossler, and now Redfield…which means nobody gets the required 50% plus 1…… So even if Donna comes out of top of the general election she will not get enough to win 50 plus 1 per cent, The crucial position is #2 where everybody groups together and blocks the #1. The number #2 will win and this has happened before I the VI in the gubernatorial race where Cyril King came in #1 and lost to Dr. Melvin Evans.
And that’s the exact premise De Jongh and his band of criminal proxy’s will try to exploit. Flood all the elected seats with waste of 9 months people. Voters simply need to be educated to avoid these spoilers on voting day.
