Edwin “Things Good” Callwood Dies Suddenly Tuesday Night

Edwin "Things Good" Callwood, pictured at right above with CIF President Michael Springer, died suddenly in his sleep Tuesday night.
Edwin “Things Good” Callwood died suddenly in his sleep Tuesday night. Callwood had traveled to Cleveland, OH, for a medical procedure but had been in touch with friends on St. Croix Tuesday evening.
Crucians In Focus President Michael Springer said Wednesday that he sends his sincere condolences to the Callwood family.
“I just spoke with him and he seemed fine,” Springer said. “He was always so full of life and energetic – it’s is just such a shock how fast this can happen.”
“My prayers and thoughts arewith his family,” Springer said.
Among other survivors are Callwood’s son Dwayne, community activist.

From the time I knew him back in the early 80′s as “Lamumba”, he evolved to “Bushie” and finally to “Things Good.” Edwin was always a hardworking soldier in the cause for truth and justice. I can’t forget his gut-busting laugh, his brilliant mind and his charming ways. Edwin you remain true to the end…God knew why he took you home…and to that I say “Things Good”…RIP!
