Note To Brad Nugent: This Is No Way To Start Your Campaign!

Senate Candidate Brad Nugent

Mr. Brad Nugent, this is no way to start your campaign.

As the former Asst. Commissioner of Tourism surely you knew that when you left your government job to campaign for Senate you would have to turn in any government property assigned to you as part of that job.

So it is puzzling that you didn’t voluntarily turn in your government assigned vehicle and cell phone when you left your job on August 6.  It has been reported by reliable sources that the Department of Property and Procurement had to send a squad to locate where you had reportedly concealed the car to retrieve it for the Government.

Maybe you didn’t get the memo that in this election, we the people are looking to change the status quo – not prolong it. So the inappropriate use of Government assets is not going to be silently tolerated this time around.

You were probably just following the lead of your Governor, who is blatantly using employees, vehicles and other government assets to assist in his re-election efforts; and maybe you thought that because you were reported to engage in this practice two years ago when you were campaigning for Sen. Michael Thurland that it was okay.

Well, it’s not.

Just thought you’d like to know. We’re sure it won’t happen again.

You are not a Vet. No way. Ms Samuel was a Senator in charge of the Council to deal with affordable housing for Vets. She did no produce after so many promises. You cannot use people to pu you in office and not live up to your promises that is wrong!

The Vets deserve so much better. And if the US is not doing it then by GOD we should want to do it for our own.

PS: The US did give the money for Housing which you are not aware of. Ask Norma what happened to it. We need to stop making excuses for peoples lies and incompetence. The Vets deserved to be treated better. They are our people and our responsibility!

I think the point of the person who posted information about his schooling was highlighting that he wasnt a silver spoon baby and was proud of his public school education. But i guess you rather dis his education than talk about education problems. some of you guys are so infantile in your think it is sad to know that you might actually be from st. croix as well. @ Government Watch

Public School or not, the fact remains that Brad has sold his soul to John de Jongh. If you’re involved in the de Jongh evilness you must go. Period!

  5. Anonymous on August 16, 2010 at 6:20 pm

Brad needs to be politically quarantined.

He has the political “virus of DeJongh.”

We need to politically inoculate ourselves against further political infection!

We are trying to avoid a Political Pandemic here, people!

I saw Brad’s poster at Strawberry. Hey, dude, you can’t market yourself to us voters as if you were still in Tourism marketing the Virgin Islands to tourists.

It ain’t going to work, Brad. The barber shop chats tell me so.

Look we honestly need to stop focusing on “the crap” going on and stand behind 1 camp. We NEED toget together and grow as 1 so we can take out incombent once and for all. The poll states it clearly who we need to back. Now its up to us to do so. Other wise… Its gonna be 4 more years of deYuck and his theifin’ ways.
    No more years!!
CHANGE IS WHAT IM ASKING FOR!!!

Brad Nugent is no good. He is an opportunist and a user. If he gets elected, he will only use his seat to position for “cushy” benefits and perks ala Wayne James. Say NO to BRAD!!

  9. Anonymous on August 20, 2010 at 9:08 am

Brad is a wolverine. @ Anonymous at 9:03 am, you are so right Brad will use us and then move on to some big job in the private sector. He couldn’t do that through the Department of Tourism so he needs to be a Senator to do that.

  10. Anonymous on August 20, 2010 at 11:32 am

    Yes,
Brad will travel the world on his senate budget. We don’t need another Wayne James.

Vote for change and if we get shafted again, vote them out in two year’s. Please STT, get rid of your carer politicians this year.

With the anti-incumbent atmosphere we have in the VI lately, with the amount of democrats running for the Senate on St. Thomas, there is a good chance at least one sitting senator will lose in the primary. I understand that St. Thomians have a reputation for being too complacent with our politicians, but I truly believe that this year is different. Just wait and see. We will impression you.

  12. Anonymous on August 20, 2010 at 2:24 pm

    ‘T’,we’d rather be ‘impressed’.

  13. Anonymous on August 20, 2010 at 2:26 pm

DON’T VOTE FOR BRAD. HE IS A MARRIED MAN CARRYING ON WITH A WOMAN OTHER THAN HIS WIFE. HE WAS WITH JUDI FRICKS WHO IS NOW WITH POSITIVE NELSON. (THAT IS WHAT THE SCHOOL CHILDREN SAY) WE NEED GOD FEARING AND ABIDING REPRESENTATION IN THE SENATE.

  14. Anonymous on August 20, 2010 at 2:37 pm

    @Anony 2:24, that’s funny!

  15. T on August 20, 2010 at 2:50 pm

By mistake, I was typing fast. I mean “impressed” but you know what I mean.

  16. Anonymous on August 20, 2010 at 2:54 pm

No ‘T”—you meant ‘impress’.But that’s O.K as we ALL make errors.

  17. Anonymous on August 20, 2010 at 6:08 pm

    JUST SAY NO TO BRAD!

  18. Anonymous on August 20, 2010 at 7:04 pm
