We Heard It Too – But We Can’t Confirm Or Deny

July 29, 2010

Rumors swirled furiously late Wednesday night as to whether or not a federal indictment has been handed down in the matter of Virgin Islands Governor John P. deJongh, Jr., and the spending of $490,000 in public funds to make enhancements to his private home in Estate Mafolie on St. Thomas.

We don’t know. We are checking.

But we promise that as soon as any information is confirmed, we will let you know.

Meanwhile, enjoy the “Wolf.”

You have no idea who was given what jobs. Most of the free masons in the Territory are self made business men. If they say they will not vote de Jongh then they won’t. They have no reason of being afraid of de Jongh. He can’t influence anything once it involves the Lodge.

De Jongh is in trouble with a whole lot of people. NO MORE YEARS FOR DE JONGH!

    Disillusioned DeJongh-Democrats.

    Why are you so sad?
    Why are you so angry?

    Have you lost your way?

Indicted for what? What are you talking about? Did I miss something?

    Indicted?

Well, that whould explain O’Bryan’s sudden and last minute entry in governor’s race.

If that be the case, run Jimmy run!

But keep in mind, neither Jimmy nor Luz can beat Donastorg.

deWolf can still run while under indictment.

  10. Flight Risk on August 11, 2010 at 7:22 am

It all depends on what the indictment counts are and whether or not the Federal government believes he becomes a flight risk after being indicted.

The Fed can ask a judge to lock him up until he goes to trial because they believe he might try to flee the country. de Jongh has dirty money spread out around the world and is in a position to become a flight risk.

It seems only logical that he be locked up pending his trail and conviction. Isn’t that’s what de Wolf do to lesser offenders?

I say lock him up until his trail date.

They would just take his passport

  12. Anonymous on August 11, 2010 at 8:22 am

Taking a passport away from a flight risk does not preventing him from fleeing, prison bars will.

    Lock him up!
