Is Michael Bornn Sen. Terrence “Positive” Nelson’s Choice Of Running Mate?

Sen. Terrence "Positive" Nelson

Sen. Terrence "Positive" Nelson

We may have a glimpse into one more team that will be vying for the Office of the Governor in November.

Sen. Terrence “Positive” Nelson, gubernatorial candidate from the Independent Citizens Movement Party, announced on the radio today that he has chosen a running mate, and while he did not name the individual, he said that he and his chosen teammate were “born” to run for the two highest offices in Virgin Islands Government.

Public belief is strong that the potential running mate is Michael Bornn. No stranger to VI politics, Bornn is a former Commissioner of Tourism and was a candidate for governor himself when he ran with running mate Marty Golden in an unsuccessful bid against former Governor Charles Turnbull in 2002.

Nelson did not specify when a formal announcement will be made.

For now, we send the question to you.

Can a Nelson-Bornn ticket win the race for Government House in November?

The only forward for Donastorg is forward to the judge’s bench to account for his reckless and careless behavior. DeJongh will beat him easily when all the details of his adulterous behavior comes out. He needs to control his ego and deal with his real legal problems before he ends up convicted.

Where in the world is a person standing trial for domestic violence going to get elected governor? Wait till he gets on the stand to defend himself and have to admit the 19 year old girl is not the first situation he was involved in like that. What are our standards for Government House?

  4. Anonymous on July 1, 2010 at 3:53 pm

Currently, we have NO standards for Government House. The de Jongh Administration has made a mockery out of the US Virgin Islands throughout the United States and Internationally.

At this point in time, it doesn’t matter who the candidate is or what he has done. John de Jongh must GO!

Senator Donastorg, you’re on this website blaming people for your negligence and stupidity all because your campaign gone bush. Soon you’re going to be accusing family memebers for your free fall. I suggest you give this pipe dream of yours a rest and clear yourself of the charges made against you.

you know what you got, but you don’t know what you go get. Think it over my friends, think it over.

So,if these are the Democrats who,by their unwillingness to ‘play ball’ and coalesce around a team of the people’s choosing, you have to confront and challenge them by making your prefernce known….and persuading them that there is more to be gained by coming together for a common purpose, which is to deafeat the incumbent governor, than each going their diverse ways in the satisfying of individual egos and allowing deWolf another 4 years.

Many disagreements are settled when differing opinions are put to a vote and a majority vote is accepted as the decider.

Not sure how this one is going to be decided but time is of the essence.

The judas radio personality is back at it again planting his seeds of far. The little wissel just don’t have a clue how many people have come dropping dimes on his judas a**. Becareful CIF he has been tlaking about you too. To this judas wissel, silver is worth more than the people.

Time is of the essence for anyone that want to get rid of de wolf. You must register to cast your vote.

CIF you might consider creating a link to information about how to register, the requirements, and dead lines.

The spin against Donastorg will only get worse to discourage voters from coming to the polls. If voters buy into this fear propaganda de Wolf will succeed at another 4 more years.

The bottom line is de Wolf has implemented his hailmary assault on Donastorg. FOR THE JUDAS, KEEP IT UP…

Has the thought ever crossed some of you people’s minds who profess to know it all that maybe, just maybe, we want change in Government House and believe there are much better options than Senator Donastorg? Like Mapp & Nelson. Just Wondering.

  11. Anonymous on July 1, 2010 at 5:12 pm

De Jongh will destroy Mapp if he doesn’t team with Donastorg and Nelaon is going no where fast.

Mapp and Donastorg this race is yours please don’t give it to de Jongh. Team up and put all the BS aside, the people want you both!

  12. Anonymous on July 1, 2010 at 5:58 pm

What has cross our minds is de Jongh has got to go. We are also realistic to accept that to achieve eliminating ourselves of the dictator it will require us to collectively rally around the man he fears most. Let’s keep this simple, failure is not an option in 2010. These Virgin Islands are at rock bottom and gambling with anyone else not capable of taking down the giant is pure madness. Let us not forget that Senator Donastorg has spent a career taking down giants that have used and abused the people of the Virgin Islands.

THE BOTTOM LINE IS WE HAVE A BATTLE TESTED WARRIOR READY TO KNOCK DE JONGH OUT! THE TRUE QUESTION IS ARE WE READY FOR THE BATTLE OR DO WE ALLOW THE SPIN DOCTORS TO PLAY WITH OUR FUTURES.

IT’S TIME FOR ALL OF US TO LOOK AT OUR SELVES IN THE MIRROR AND ASK…I’M I READY?

ACCORDING TO THE CIF COUNTER, WE ARE LESS THAN 71 DAYS FROM TRULY CHANGING THE COURSE OF HISTORY IN THE VIRGIN ISLANDS.

ARE YOU READY TO RECLAIM YOUR TERRITOERY…IF YES LET’ DO IT!
