@ Ana: we cant wait for the election in November to make things right. We, all of us in the territory have to unite, come across as being mindful and level-headed, and remove the possibility of DeJongh even thinking of running for another term.

WHO was DeJonghs “press secretary” that had to move to Florida to have the baby? What would Obama or any stateside politician think of this?

We don’t need to write to Obama, but we DO need to write to Congress and Senators about our situation.

There is a real world here, but so many are not paying attention to it.

Mr. Hill has just blown a hole in his own rowboat.

Thomian, what are you drinking? I hope is not the shupid bush that celestino and the rest of them are drinking. Look my brother, is not that we in the big island don’t like progress, it’s the back lash that comes with the operation. DIAGEO is the worst deal ever! I hope you don’t have any children or granchildren to deal with paying back what DeWolf has committed them too. About owing land we are proud to have what we have. One love!

Here’s a thought…for years STX has been politically pitted against STT(and stj, but stj only gets to follow stt), so how bout the islands unite and come to an aggreance with each other? Hill is not King, but STT allows him to think so, and STX just bends over for him. Let’s stop the cycle, and unite. We are, afterall, one territory, and should not feel a rivalry between sister islands.

I didn’t realize I was using The name “Thomian in focus”, that belong to one of the de Wolf administration cronies. I have chanced my name so I would not be identified as one of those self serviving fools.

Comment #23 is my genuine opinion. I used the name I didn’t know was being used by the de Wolf water carrier.

I asked this question in a previous posting, but I was not sure if anyone get to read this since it got overlooked in the hysteria of the politicial season.

I did some research on The Political Graveyard, and I noticed that in the 1984 VI elections, about 10 incumbent senators got voted out and replaced with a new batch of people. In 1986, seven senators were voted out. Can somebody explain to me what was going on during those election years for this to occur? By the way, here is the address:

This is the first time I am posting on this site. Do you people in the VI get any work done? I heard that the government is the biggest employer and I wonder if there are government workers using government time to blog to this site?

What is the big deal about a press secretary going to Florida to have a baby? Are there hospitals in the VI?

Do you people have a life? Are the things you write about a script for a reality show or soap opera?

Life in the USVI appear to be bizarre.

  11. Sentator on January 11, 2010 at 11:39 am

    Who laugh last, laugh best!

The few bloggers to this site do not have political clout. Those with political aspiration must come with a better script than just attacking the incumbent political leaders.

    If not Diageo, what?

If you are going to use this site as a platform, write your plans on how to make the USVI better. Do not worry about someone stealing your ideas. Copyright your manifesto and document it on this site for all to bear witness.

I agree! The last laugh will be election 2010 and good-bye to Dejongh. Then you will realize how much political clout the people of the VI have!

I agree anonymous BYE BYE deJONGH.

    We shall see!

  15. Anonymous on January 12, 2010 at 5:21 pm

Dejoghn is already out the door. More bombshells will be exposed before the election it will rock the entire foundation of our government.

  16. EyesWideOpen2010! on January 12, 2010 at 5:35 pm

Not only is it bye, bye Dejongh, but it is bye, bye Hill and the Senate Majority members who colluded to remove Mario from the radio.

  17. Anonymous on January 12, 2010 at 6:10 pm

What is this I hear about Cecile Dejoghn getting 10K monthly checks from the VI Lottery to pay to her trips to Rowanda? The money from the VI Lottery (by law) is supposed to go to the Youth Summer Employmnet Program, Resources for the Disabled and Education.

When is the last time any of these programs got money from the VI Lottery? Why is tens of thousands of dollars being given to Cecile DeJonhg for her vacation to Rawanda?

What madness is seriously happening in this Adminstration?!?!!!

  18. Askie on January 12, 2010 at 7:25 pm

Speaking of the V.I.Lottery,would there be any truth to the rumour that in a previous administration the grand prize winners were predetermined by someone in Government House? I find that hard to believe as there are all kinds of safeguards to prevent such an occurence, plus there are witnesses to the actual drawings.

  19. Anonymous on January 12, 2010 at 7:29 pm

If you have watched the Lottery drawing you know that the numbers can not be predetermined.
