As the Chairperson for the Committee on Education, Youth and Culture, first-term Senator Janette Millin-Young has received more notoriety for her travel preferences than for any substantive actions to address the glaring issues in our educational system.
Thought of initially as one who would quietly follow, Millin-Young has shown recent faint glimmers of enlightenment, but our jury is still out on where she will fall as we enter a phase where all elected officials will be called upon to take a stand – on one side of the line or the other.
But for now, it’s your opinion we’re interested in. If the election was held today…
As many of you heard recently, CIF President Michael Springer, at left, delivered the first in a series of radio announcements that will target specific issues and offer analysis on our most pressing concerns.
The feedback on the comments was extremely positive, so CIF will sponsor then as often as possible, and we thank those of you who have already donated! But airtime costs money and we're seeking your help.
If you'd like to help keep our voices on the air, please donate whatever you can using the PayPal button below. We thank you in advance for your support.
Be sure to click on the link below to see the latest iReport on our crippling corruption and scroll down to the comments. A wolverine posting under the name of "Bornyah" is trying to tell the world that the information that's getting some widespread attention is just "half-truth" from "disgruntled" people.
Nice try, Keep on reading and posting people. And send these links to everyone you know!
This past weekend, one of our CIF bloggers started a campaign to post the stories of our discontent on CNN iReports. If you scroll through the blogs from the past three days, you will see that this campaign has grown some very long legs in a very short time.

Wow, that is sooooooooo on the money.
Makes me wonder where and shat all that money he received for Kissee Richards went, I think it was $30,000. He said it would be given to the Shriner’s since they are helping the little girl until she is 18 years old for all medical expenses. What about those computers he was asking money for? The COW’S?
Seems to me an IRS or IS investigation needs to happen on the RWM Foundation. It should not be his personal ‘piggy bank’ from donations we gave for a specific cause.
brilliant!
WOW!!! That was funny!
That was excellent. We really have some creative people in the VI. This should win some kind of media award.
Please give us more…..
It might be funny to some but we need to be quite careful what Roger Morgan is attempting to do in the Virgin Islands. For some apparent reason he continues to cloud issues, protect the Governor and feed the public with a bunch of hogwash. I get the impression he is prejudice and does nothing more than look out for himself at the expense of goodwill. I was born in Jamaica and I can tell you, no one dear come to Jamaica and perform this kind of foolishness that Roger Morgan and his Free Speech program does. It is not only extremely manipulative but it reaks havoc and continues to divide people along the racial lines. I for one cannot stand to hear how he subdues and disrespect those callers who dear to contradict his position. We need to boycott his program to save the people of the Virgin Islands.
This is well put together guys…Love it
PAY ATTENTION! The video is entertaining and enlightening, yes. FOCUS! Dennis is on the money. Roger is a classic carpet bagger and knows how to work the angles to come with nothing and leave with everything. DO NOT FOLLOW HIM! He is especially dangerous to naive and unsuspecting Caribbean people.
It was brought to my attention that the owner of isle 95 bought the station, they telling people he gone on vacation,he don’t want to work for the new owner that’s whats going on,i was told.
