  1. RED FLAG – DE JONGH ADMINISTRATION GOVERNMENT HOUSE PAYROLL AS OF OCTOBER 2007 on September 9, 2009 at 3:48 pm

THIS IS WHY OUR GOVERNMENT IS GOING BANKRUPTED AND MUST CONTINUE TO BORROW MONEY. LOOK AT DE JONGH ADMINISTRATION GOVERNMENT HOUSE SALARIES AS OF OCTOBER 2007. HOW MANY OF THESE INDIVIDUALS GOT SALARY INCREASE SINCE 2007? DIDN’T CIF REPORT THAT THIS LIST OF EMPLOYEES HAS GROWN EVEN DURING A DE JONGH ADMINISTRATION “SO CALL” SELF IMPOSED HIRING FREEZE?

THE VIRGIN ISLANDS COMMUNITY DEMANDS JUSTICE! THE HENCHMEN IN THE SENATE ARE JUST AS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SINS OF THIS GOVERNOR FOR GIVING HIM MORE MONEY TO CORRUPT.

THE DE JONGH ADMINISTRATION IS TAKING MONEY FROM OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES TO PAY HIS GOVERNMENT HOUSE EMPLOYEES PAYROLL. MONEY IS ALSO COMING OUT OF DPNR TO PAY GOVERNMENT HOUSE EMPLOYEES SALARIES.

  2. SMOKING GUN – DE JONGH’S EX CONVICTS SALARIES on September 9, 2009 at 4:25 pm

GOVERNOR JOHN P. DE JONGH, JR., REWARDED HIS CONVICTED FELON (BANK EMBEZZLEMENT) NATHAN SIMMONDS IN 2007 WITH A “FAT” STARTING SALARY OF:

Nathan Simmonds Senior Policy Adviser $95,000

GOVERNOR JOHN P. DE JONGH, JR., ALSO REWARDED HIS CONVICTED FELON (FRAUD AGAINST THE UNITED STATES VIRGIN ISLANDS) WILLIAM KOENIG, WMK MECHANICAL GROUP WITH “MAFOLIEGATE” CONTRACTS IN EXCESS OF $100,000.00. KOENIG’S CONTRACTS BEGAN TO FLOW FROM 2007 THROUGH 2009.

THE MESSAGE THIS GOVERNOR HAS BEEN SENDING IS “CRIME PAYS”.

WOW!!!! Look like CIF is giving the opposition plenty of ammunition for whoever runs against Gov. de Jongh. I have a feeling that 2010 will be an interesting year indeed.

Sorry, forget to put my name.

  5. SMOKING GUN – DE JONGH STIMULUS SHOVEL READY “BS” on September 9, 2009 at 4:51 pm

THE ONLY SHOVEL READY OPPORTUNITIES THAT GOVERNOR JONH P. DE JONGH, JR., PROVIDED TO THE VIRGIN ISLANDS WERE THE “FAT” SALARIES THAT HE HANDED OUT TO HIS MOST LOYAL SUPPORTERS AFTER HIS 2006 VICTORY.

GOVERNOR JOHN P. DE JONGH, JR. HAS ALSO HELPED HIMSELF TO A STIMULUS BY EMBEZZLING PUBLIC FUNDS TO “REPAIR AND ENHANCE” HIS BROKE DOWN PRIVATE ESTATE.

HIS PROPAGANDA PRESS RELEASE IN FEBRUARY 2009 ABOUT THE STIMULUS IMPACT ON THE VI WAS NOTHING MORE THAN A FEEL GOOD FIX FOR THE COMMUNITY.

NOW CIF IS REPORTING ON GOVERNOR JOHN P. DE JONGH, JR. OWN PERSONAL VIOLATIONS OF HIS SELF IMPOSED HIRING FREEZE AND WHO HE IS REALLY STIMULATING.

THIS IS CORRUPTION AT ITS BEST.

STIMULUS IMPACT ON THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS

“This bill is the start of something new and something breathtakingly fresh— it is an unprecedented opportunity to reinvest in our economy, our infrastructure and our people.”
Governor John P. deJongh, Jr. February 19, 2009

The $787 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 will have a tremendous impact on the Virgin Islands. This legislation will provide a unique opportunity for the Government of the Virgin Islands to help enhance the quality of life for our people.

Under this stimulus bill, the Virgin Islands will receive more than $244 million in economic benefits over a two-year period. This will help to: Enhance the quality of our education and health systems – Modernize and repair our schools – Strengthen our law enforcement capabilities – Provide needed services to the unemployed and those persons who have been hardest hit by the economic storm – Improve our transportation infrastructure – Increase our energy efficiency and cut our utility costs – AND IMPROVE OUR ENVIRONMENT.

Twenty million dollars in transportation funds will be provided to immediately commence work on shovel-ready projects, both those already underway and those which only require funding to begin construction.

Most of these positions were filled with in-house employees, apparently some that were hard-working and deserving. I thought that is what we do in business. I don’t see those being classed as “new hires”. The difference of the current salary and the promotion,as lot less and makes more sense than doing the usual, bringing in a whole person at the full salary. Let’s not get caught up.

??? What you are not understanding is that they are creating new positions to justify exhorbitant (sp) raises and new jobs. They are not really filling needed positions. YOU MUST REMEMBER THAT THERE IS A HIRING FREEZE AND NO ONE SHOULD BE HIRED!!!!!!!!!! Trust me I could show you paperwork for hundreds of new employees that were appointed since the FREEZE.

As reported by Austin Nibbs, Director of GERS the number is close to 1500 people hired since the freeze.

Is this the governor’s idea of change? How can we except our government officials to be accountable and transparent when our senators refused to repeal Act 6905 or conduct an audit on themselves. We have been talking about ‘Mafoliegate’ since early summer, and the governor have not comment on the situation to this day.
