At Least Somebody’s Comfortable

VI Board of Education - Malibu LT

We couldn’t help but notice that the VI Board of Education staff whips around in shiny new dual-exhaust air conditioned cars while students at John H. Woodson Junior High School suffer through the heat with only dual exhaust fans to move the stifling air.

Makes you wonder where the financial priorities lie….
We’re just sayin…

Gov. Schneider had a little wooden guardhouse built. It must have cost pennies compared to an actual concrete building. If the People of the VI wanted to they could have picked up Scneider’s guard house and taken to gov’t property, but it wasn’t worth it. deWolf on the other hand has a perfect efficiency apartment when the guards are gone.
$98k for a security fence? It must feel great to live in a house with that kind of safe feeling. No wonder the People just keep getting rhetoric about crime. The deWolf’s have “no worries”. It appears the “People” are even footing the bill for their personnel needs.
I understand they have a lady that is their own private chef.

That lady chef is on the gov’t payroll

From brand new car to the Molloys to a lady chef. Got to love it.

It seems we have a “Marcus” on this site. I guess the country still running good. LOL!

Anonymous you are correct I love it. Only in the VI

Yes Busted, you are not the only one this site.

My Governor needs something better than a wood shed for his guardhouse. This Governor is running a country, not a colony. His enemies include very disturbed individuals like Bert Bryan. He killed his son and hates my Governor. His followers are psychos, too.

I want my country to run good. My Governor deserves the best. Stop hating!

    Marcus,

I too was one of the Governor’s strongest supporter but I cannot condone this type of governance. I am surprise your collective thoughts can lead you down that road of deceit. Not me….I cannot phathom how this practice can be acceptable when we provide so many benefits for the Governor already. I am really looking forward to seeing how this entire saga will evolve. I cannot imagine this being legal. So Marcus, you should consider being an independent thinker, rather than allowing anyone to dictate your opinions. I sure cannot allow anyone to control my thoughts especially when their actions are unbecoming of a real democratic leader.

Governors Farrelly, Schneider and Turnbull were caused to abandoned Denmark Hill because of a mole and mildew problem. Guard Houses were built at their homes. Some had toilets but the price never reached close to $5,000 dollars. The guard house at Denmark $100,000. This is a disgrace especially when we note the plan for the spending of these hugh funds began shortly after the deJongh administration began in 2007. Like he couldn’t wait. We routinely see the governor in the supermarkets and drinking with his cabal in Frenchtown late at night and he does not have security.

IT should read the guard house at Denmark Hill cost more like $10,000. excuse the typo

Does anyone know the name of the lady chef?

  11. Pandora on June 25, 2009 at 1:46 pm

    Marcus –

Please explain how holding the Governor accountable for expenditure of public funds equals “hating’?

One could argue that the senators are also in need of security at their homes – where do we draw the line? What about the Lt. Gov?

  13. Sojourner Truth on June 25, 2009 at 4:38 pm

One could argue that we ALL need to feel secure in our homes.
