I must have missed something here — what are you talking about Anonymous? If you know who’s who why you posting anonymously? I am really grateful for this site and I do not think you should try and discredit it because you have your own axe to grind. Nothing posted here has been proven false yet.

  2. EyesWideOpen on June 10, 2009 at 1:24 pm

    Anonymous,

Let me clearly state that I am not the senator from St. Thomas nor do I work for him.

If that was your impression, to senator and his staff, I do offer an apology and rightfully so. To you, I offer none!

As I have asked you before, tell me which Virgin Islander leader, living or dead, whom you and your sick website hold in high esteem. You have not yet named one.

I am independent from any politician. I am a native Virgin Islander who does not like the direction my beloved-Virgins Islands is heading. I am, however, thankful that the American soil stands beneath my feet and the American flag flies above my head, hence giving me free expression against you or any other misguided, malcontent.

As I have said before, you ought to change your website’s name from Demmansay.com to Demdemonssay.com, or Demdegeneratesay.com.

  3. Disappointed on June 10, 2009 at 1:50 pm

Crucian in Focus is the only place to get real information. Demmansay is a disppointment. Just like the Avis, Source and the Daily News. I’ve actually sent credilble information to all of them. I pick up the papers daily in hopes someone will write the truth only to be disppointed with the sugar coated journalism. Thank you Crucians in Focus. Please keep enlightening us.

Never thought I would see the day when there would be so much hate for a website that worked in tandem like this one and demmansay.com did. Politics I guess.

  5. Anonymous on June 10, 2009 at 5:33 pm

We have proof that Foncie is working very closely with Springer ever since the re-organization of the legislature. I hope their supporters can deal with it when they get it in heavy loads. Political careers could be over when everything plays itself out.

  6. EyesWideOpen on June 10, 2009 at 7:30 pm

    Johnny,

Sorry for the misspelling during my last posting; I was “rushing.”

I agree with your comments. Guess who benefits from this implosion within the ranks of Demmansay.com and Crucian infocus.com The current administration!

I know this, but it is Demmansay.com who does not seem to have the sense to understand this.

I say call it quits and refocus.

  7. Show Me on June 11, 2009 at 2:36 am

I agree that the Daily news is completely worthless. Other than using it with Windex to clean glass, it’s worthless. To justify a vote on a bill, based on who bring the bill forward is the exact kinda b.s. That have us sitting in this mess right now. I’ve NEVER voted for Barshinger, and he just went from “no way Jose” to “HELL NO!!!!!” In my book. Government Watch: you right on de money- couln’t have said it better

  8. The Observer on June 11, 2009 at 5:19 am

I have carefully followed this discussion as I do on demmansay and I wanted to make a couple of observations. 1. Demmansay was once my favorite site for what I thought was quality information but for some reason that has deminished. I was not a Foncie or rather a Senator Donastorg fan but after seeing his cell phone bill posted without the benefit of a letter he wrote to Senator Hill it was clear for some apparent reason Demmansay has a ax to grind. 2. If its true that Anonymous is Senator Donastorg, then I guess Demmansay was quite intuitive and sharp; but if its not would that not be another deliberative and vicious attack on Senator Donastorg? I am starting to wonder whether or not demmansay has developed some level of envy and jelousy. It seem so obvious but then again that is my observation. So I guess Anonymous will clarify this for us. And talk about political careers being over; I guess some careers are already over before they had a chance to really get started.

  9. HARD TO BELIEVE on June 11, 2009 at 8:41 am

I am convinced that dewolf administration is laughing their way to a second term.I have been off both of the sites for awhile as I was preparing for my exam to enter the real world after 5 hard and long years at the university.i notice that demmansay still has your link still up and it is not here on your site. Both groups need to put their anger aside and get back to what serve this community the best. I agree the other news outlets refuse to challenege this administration. i am going to call in a mediator for bothe group.

    Anonymous Cowards:

Why are you hiding behind the shield of anonymity? Be bold!

Small minds talk about people;medium minds talk about events;great minds talk about ideas. This is a great site to receive and disseminate information. However, information is not always accurate and reliable. This is where the intelligentsia should come aboard. Are the documents being presented authentic? It is my opinion that the documents on this site are genuine and Mr. Springer is proving that he possesses exceptional media skills. I hope he expands the site to include the police blotter, weather report, sport news and community bulletin. The other media will be compelled to make improvements.

The other site that is now defunct lost focus. Constantly bashing the administration and denigrating prominent VI natives led to its demise. I am delighted that cruciansinfocus.com is not succumbing to such trashy journalism. If we want it to remain a legitimate source for news, let’s help to keep it clean. The world is paying attention to the VI.

Who was the senator that sued the Daily News because he claimed that he got his degree from Madison University? The same senator who’s on this site claiming that only this site is bringing real news to the people.

Madison Unversity in Mississippi isn’t even a school. It decsribes itself as a business. I know this. I buy the Daily News on a daily basis. At least they have a variety of subject areas, unlike this limited entity who’s sole focus, pun intended, is to intimidate people and spew nothing but unfounded garbage.

Senator Donastorg, you might be good at winning senatorial elections, but I’ll take the Daily News over you when it comes to credibility any day.

  12. anon on June 12, 2009 at 9:41 am

You gotta be joking. The Daily News has not been credible since Prosser bought it out.

  13. Scholar on June 12, 2009 at 8:19 pm

To Daily News Reader…Have you checked out where the Gov. went to college? Antioch College…”Its educational approach blended practical work experience with classroom learning and participatory community governance, and students received narrative evaluations instead of letter grades.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antioch_College

  14. The Observer on June 13, 2009 at 5:19 am

    Hey Scholar,

You sure got it right on point. In fact, that institution (Antioch College)the Governor attended was initially created for rich people kids that had learning disorders. This is exactly why they don’t compete for a grade at that institution. But I guess Virgin Islanders was taken for a ride and dewolf was able to deflect from his own credencials.

    That school so longer exist

  16. Sojourner Truth on June 13, 2009 at 7:45 am

It is no secret that the First Lady is involved with CHADD. Possibly to deal with her husband’s learning disorder?

  17. EyesWideOpen on June 13, 2009 at 10:03 am

No Dog in this Fight, Just an Observer.

Seems like the focus has begun to shift away from the small-time Senate and the complicated-complex Constitution and has begun to shift towards the big-prize, Government House.

Word to the Wise: This core-group is different from that of Luis, Farrelly, Schneider, and Turnbull; they are a lot meaner and more desperate!

It is going to be a nasty one in 2010: Government House has adopted the Malcolm X Philosophy: “By any means necessary.”

Unlike what Dowe often says, “Serious Times for Serious Minds,” I say Desperate Times often lead to Desperate Minds.

  18. Sojourner Truth on June 13, 2009 at 7:08 pm

This Constitution is a distraction so no one will follow the MONEY. 10% interest for Diageo bonds? During these times? Borrowing $100 million here, $50 million there and a $350 millon stimulus package.
No need for any fish frying this time around for deWolf.
Keep your eyes on the money.

  19. OldFart on June 13, 2009 at 7:32 pm

Funny you mention racking up debt. During the Turnbull years the USVI issued almost $1 billion in bonds. Bonds are normally used for capital improvement. Where did the money go?

  20. Sojourner Truth on June 13, 2009 at 8:19 pm

Ponder momentarily on the past for reference, but do not get distracted from the present issues.
