I got confused with Redfield speech. Is he running for office again? I think he should start find ways to escape the inevitable incarciration of Jeffrey Prosser and his role in Prossors demise from glory. I find it to be upsurd he would still be trying to transition back into this community as a concern citizen/candidate when he very well know he was played such a major role in the termination of so many hard working employees in Innovative. We have not forgotten Holland. We here on St. Croix was left with such a bitter taste in our mouths.
This speech was on the fence. Typical political posturing.
Word had it that both Jeffrey Prosser and Cornelius Pryor were manipulating the powers that be in the Virgin Islands. Donastorg was deep in Pryor’s pocket all when he was attacking Prosser before Prosser lost it all. Unfortunate how money corrupts our elected officials.
In the Know, you are wrong on that one. I was really involved in the VITELCO issue and Prior had nothing to gain in attacking Prosser.
What is interesting to me is that although Prosser no longer has an interest in the Daily News, they still are very biased in their reporting. I think the new owners need to clean house because Prosser’s managers, editors and reporters are all still there.
Now we going back to the Vitelco thing again. Like I’ve been saying all along, jokes after jokes after jokes.
Why are you attacking the messenger? Let’s debate issues, not personality. I agree with the points made by Holland Redfield. A constitution should protect the rights of all VI citizens. Discrimination of the minority groups should not be condoned.

At this point, I have one simple question: What about the people of french ancestry, some of whom being able to trace their lineage in St.Thomas as far back as the 1850’s.
According to the Proposed Constitution, would they be classified as Native or Ancestral-Native?
This simple answer may very well determine my vote.
Verdel, U hit the nail on the head. The editorial spoke to the impact of the document, yet the response spoke to the WHOM instead of the WHAT. Get what you say you are people, Crucians In Focus. Say what you want about Donastorg, but he took a beating for standing up against VITELCO and all the corruption of Government officials. He was the only one doing anything to try and stop the raping of the V.I. I hope its true that Donastorg is teaming up with Positive and they send the Governor home.

I’m sick and tried of seeing someone moved from working on main street in a store to government house with a bill salary and government workers at still at the lousy salaries. Can someone tell me how our new $100k commissioner Anne Golden have so much time for Redfield’s show? Does she not have government business to conduct? And doesn’t she know better than to say the constitution will terminate the Diageo and Hovensa agreement? That is not legally possible. Anne should know better.
Looks like the Governor feels like Redfield does. He said that he’s not forwarding the document to Obama. Interesting.
