I am really astonished a Senator namely Wayne James can be serving in Public Office with a such a track record of evading taxes. Just the other day, two nominees had to withdraw their names from nomination before the Senate. What kind of standards do we promote here in the Virgin Islands? Senator James is just the wrong type of person in office. He may do anything to secure a way of paying his taxes. Is he not even more vuneralble that the rest? What a mistake.

Donastorg must have known what he was getting into when he decided to join the Demorats. If not,he knows now. I wonder if he still thinks he's one of them.

FYI
Any ordinary citizen/resident can call on the Federal Inspector General to investigate wrong doing in the gov.

Who is brave enough to expose these bandits on the public airwaves? I'll like for someone to call the rascal talk show and bring up these issues. The rascal is now working as legal counsel for the 28th Legislature.I will write in Micky Mouse as a candidate next time. Why do we continue to put into the Senate these dishonest people? Just because they are native, it does not mean that they will look out for us.

brent this is what we have going on in the VI. it is very unfortunite, when there is so called leaders involved in crminal activity and law enforcement does nothing about it. I wonder why james mcall is still police commissioner,he might know to much about the wrong doing that is going in this government so they cant move him. this complete government needs to be audited.the feds should come in and lock down this government without telling anyone what they are doing. then when it is over we would have a clear picture of how corrupt this government is.

I don't normally participate in these kind of forums but I have a question I would like to post; Regarding Senator Patrick Sprauve, can he not be prosecuted for attempting to defraud the Legislature? Was it not Senator Hansen and others who tried to defraud the Government? I just spoke with a Ava Penn, Former Director of Business Office for the Legislature, and she indicated Senator Sprauve had attempted this in the last legislature and when not successful he tried to get it by Senator Donastorg. Interesting enough, both Senators Neville James or Patrick Hill have commented on this which makes me feel they condone this time of action. Are they not attempting to conceal information from the public? I can now say, I am not a fan of Senator Donastorg but this may have been a tragic mistake removing him. We now have the wolves guarding the chickens. Replacing Donastorg with Dowe, oh my God.....I don't live in St. Thomas but I remember my cousin telling me of Senator Dowe's money hungry grabs. And by the way, was he not indicted once and got off on a technicality? Way to go Senator Neville James, your judgement is as good as a ram goat.

This appears to be a senatorial conundrum. The VI Senator is the arena for crooks, cheaters & liars. Why is the title honorable used for these scum bags?
