Committed Senator? Experienced Attorney?

November 2, 2008

Over the past couple days, Senator Russell has had a mouthful to say about ‘Michael’ [Springer]. His ad was so pathetic it seemed unworthy of a response. After reading the OpEd in the Sunday/Monday Avis, written by Senator Russell’s uncle, we thought Senator Russell could use some of his own advice.

OpEd by Senator Russell’s Uncle – Part 1

OpEd by Senator Russell’s Uncle – Part 2

To Senator Russell, the self-proclaimed “committed Senator” and “very experienced attorney”: As you suggested to ‘Michael’, maybe you should meet with your pastor, seek counseling, and get an enema to clear your mind of the toxins that have lead to such incomprehensible behavior.

Feel free to share your advice for Senator Russell in our blog.

Believe it or not I am a true Crucian and I am not being paid. If you think I have made up a personallity thats good because you don’t know the real thing if it hit you in the face. I am the real deal, the kind of person that monitors these blogs for my personal interest and I see that you are being unfair I will respond. And if you don’t want me to comment on your personal blog, that’s fine. But I will not sit back and allow you to attack anyone unjustly. Let me give some good advice for Michael save your money and don’t waste our time leave politics to the people who are electable.

How you would want to know! I am the kind of person that works behind the seen I don’t need public acknowledgement for anything I have done. My joy is see the faces of the less fortunate and disenfranchised happy and in a better place. I chose my profession to make a difference in someones life. I advocate to help those most deserving. I believe in my people I hold them in high regards and I dislike the attitude of any so call crucian that will publicly try to distroy his fellow man. Regardless of the circumstance we have to keep it fair and try not to drag us (the rest crucians) done in the process of drestroying another crucian reputation. We have to remember that this is a small community and their family members especially their parents who have work hard in this V.I. live here and among us. This is a unfair reflexion on them. So karen this is personal for me. I dislike us helping outsiders to destroy our crucian people, you don’t hear St. Thomians doing that do you? That’s the problem why we are going no way in this community. Let’s pick each other up and try to look at the other side of the picture. Who is going to look out for us? Deep in your heart you have the answer. Use this blog to encourage our Senators to step out of the box. Expand their knowledge and ideas to better this community. Rather than be couch critic let’s role up our sleeves and get out there and do something other than run our mouths to tear down. The retirement package part of 6905 is my only pet peeve, but the I have no problem with the earning $85,000.00 a year. I am sure Michael Springer was dribbling about getting that salary.

Will excuse me Mrs. anonymous, this is a democracy we have the right to give constructive criticism to our public officials. What Mr. Springer and his organization did was excellent in terms of pulling the wool off of our eyes which help us see what those good for nothing senators have been doing with our tax payers’ dollars. Check out the political rewind on this site, the Senators in they own words. I can’t but to wonder if your Senator Rascal wife. They need to be more watch dog groups like Springer’s own which isn’t bias as Generation yesterday.

Like I said you got me wrong. I am just a crucian who can’t stand the self-righteous bickering and belly bawling crap that these blogs spew. Let’s stop tearing down, but let’s build up.

Crucian to me heart I have made my conclusion, you are not for the people of St. Croix….you are for former senator rascal whether he’s right or wrong. YOU GOT TO BE ON THE PAYROLL. Why haven’t your boss continued to try to move his so call Wapa consumer rescue bill through the senate after he lost the election? After all was it just a campaign ploy? HMMMMMMM

I wish I had a job with Sen Russell, I would have advised against making the mistakes on 6905. We all make mistakes don’t we. Remember glass houses?

  11. James on December 2, 2008 at 3:31 pm

MISTAKE?????? IT APPEARS TO ME THAT, THAT WAS BLATANT DISRESPECT AND NOOOOOO REGARDS FOR US.

  12. Crucian to me heart on December 2, 2008 at 4:35 pm

Disagree we have to look at the etire bill and realize that there was something in there for all of them who benefited. Don’t look at him, Serville and Baptiste, others came off like bandits like Senator Hill and he is still there. Crucians only live in the box, St. Thomians see a broader picture and tend to forgive for the greater good. Maybe Senator Hill is a visionary and promised to do some great stuff for the people on the rock.

I’ve sat back whole day and watch the blogging that was taking place, and I must say Crucian to me heart you are way out in left field with your thoughts and opinions. Get a grip girl.

  14. Crucian to me heart on December 3, 2008 at 8:50 am

Yeah just as long as I don’t agree with you its out in left field, but I am glad that my views a far different from yours and the rest. It shows that they are people out there with far different ideas and thoughts to the status quo.

Just one more thing, I heard a caller one evening while I listening to the re-broadcast of the Roger Morgan show by the name of Bonnie, she told the host that her original plans was not to vote for any Senator who voted for Act 6905. She then admitted that she voted for Sen. Hill, and listen why-She said he was a very good senator had done many good things in past for STT/STJ district and she could look past his vot e and give him a chance to do more and better things for her district. She is a smart lady. She understands what is at stake when you throw out an experience senator. My grandmother use to tell me you don’t throw the baby out with the bath water”.

  16. James on December 3, 2008 at 10:13 am

Bonnie is a former crack addict….

  17. Crucian to me heart on December 3, 2008 at 12:14 pm

And so what that makes her less credible than the rest of us. You said she is a former. “Judge she not” I told you about glass houses. That’s wrong with some of you in this community you always look down at people instead of lifting them up. SHE MADE A MISTAKE are going to hold it over her head for the rest of her life.

  18. Juice Man on December 3, 2008 at 1:56 pm
