I agree hold heartedly with Indigenous Virgin Islander.

Governor tighten up your belt."Oh" sorry belly too big from eating all that good food. I see you haven't missed a party, but you have missed dealing with the crisis promblems that are plaguing this community, CRIME, WAPA, EDUCATION, AND HEALTH. One year haven't made a big difference. We are slipping fast into deeper dodoo.

Born and Raised but Thinking, please clarify your point. I do not understand what is your message. I do think everyone agrees that all of us are responsible for conserving energy. Some of us think that our elected officials need to set an example. They are not concerned about cutting back on expenses when it comes to using public funds. In a democratic society, we expect our leaders to be fair. Our governor's expending waistline shows he is greedy and selfish. He has not said anything about reducing his salary. Obviously, he is eating a lot more since he gets free food.Life in paradise has actually become worse for ordinary folks since this new administration started. I'll bet anyone that this governor is a one-term governor.

I enjoy cutting back on energy. I am not going to drive any more or buy any more gas. I walk and take the taxi bus. This is my sacrifice for the planet. Also I have solar hot water (passive). Its wonderful and saves about 40% on my wapa bill. We dry all clothes on lines, don't iron, or use blow dryers.

I just don't understand how this administration can let a year pass without directing government agencies to do the same thing the general public is told to do. A simple directive to all commissioners to set air conditioners to 78 degrees and to turn off most of the lights and all computers at close of business would have been a great start. The energy office didn't need to be moved for the Governor to issue this directive. I'm hoping change is coming with the crisis we are experiencing at WAPA but for some strange reason I think it will end up being hope and no progress.

There is an old saying' "a judger is a sinner" one should put his foot foward instead of repeating the same old. Maybe just maybe the Energy Office will be run more efficiently of the Governors office rather than in a hole back at the airport. What you should do is start in your house by starting to save energy, rather than knock everything with the negative. Do your share. I would be more than willing to bet (not at the pony place) where the house always win, and politics written against anything that is proposed, why?, you supported the wrong party, The sharp boy or the man with the Xerox diploma? Energy can be cut. Start in your house and spread the word in the positive. I changed my routine and turned 30% savings. If you take all your negative energy we could possibly have enough steam to turn a turbine at WAPA. I would bet that you have a big SUV, sporting it all nice and clean down main streat looking a ting for tonight.
The main street merchants was "Cowboy Roys" MO, remember he specialized in bridges that went everywhere, flew on jets that belonged to everyone else, maybe he will bid on that mercedes from uncle jeff who used the peoples retirement $ to entertain his lifestyle. The Last Administration is batting a great average of stealing our money.
What gets me is the people that infiltrate the system to let their friends know whats on the inside coming out.
I am still sitting back to see how "One Term" will do, lets not be surprised if he pulls it off. Dont get me wrong I like reading this shit but swing some the right way somtimes.
Lets stop sitting back and trying to figure out how to get everything for free. Leave that for all the damn outsiders thats screwing the system, and taking our peoples benifits.
Even though the gas we must buy comes from them f-11's start buying it from home grown @ let him make the few bucks mark-up.

This was quite an interesting and funny commentary.I think an even better plan is to mandate that all government employees drive their own vehicles to work including the bigwigs such as the governor, senators and commissioners. Their salaries are already high and their perks are exorbitant. Talk is cheap. I am still waiting to discover what this governor has done to improve life in paradise (besides paying off his debts to the mainstreet merchants).
